sports day

went down to support the guys' basketball match against yjc at paya lebar with tong and bird after school on monday. and they won! (: they were quite shocked to see us, cause it was only their first match. and it was quite embarrassing because we were the only tj supporters there. we looked like groupies who idolised the basketballers so much that we cabbed down after school, just that we lacked the banners. hahaha but in case any tj people read this and think we are, NO okay, we so are not. as i told don, must support family what. :D and i think our class guys have very good coordination with each other heh.

the guys won again on wednesday, this time against rjc. (: and bird won her match! okay, the girls' soccer team won. but bird was so nervous about it and she won! pity there was eclub on that day, or could have gone to support her with vonn cause it was held at serangoon stadium. SO NEAR.

friday was sports day, which was a total drain of my energy even though i was just sitting there doing nothing unless someone from the class was running. omg if you haven't seen don run, you should. not that i didn't know he runs fast, but WAHHH the guys' basketball team led their relay by so much! of course, will not deny the rest of them the credit cause they ran damn fast too, but don was like overtaking everyone hahaha. and ruide had the time to look back to see if there was anyone behind him. -.- HAHAHA.

gamma won cheerleading and it was well-deserved. their stunts were really good and it was like, THROUGHOUT the routine. and their pyramids didn't collapse at all! delta's was entertaining because they had GUY flyers as well. and they could throw the guys! which was very impressive. all the houses seem to be able to do twist elevators! gosh, I MISS CHEERLEADING. ):

was supposed to go out with trish today but due to unforeseen circumstances, she couldn't make it! and keeping mum didn't seem to be showing anymore anyway. nevermind, another time then, babe!

things to look forward to this coming week:
1. guitar concert on friday evening. i specially rescheduled tuition for it okay! we'll be going down to support junqi, and of course ziyu who's guest performing. (:
2. joan's housewarming on sunday! hopefully it'll be a chance to meet up with some rgs people.
then again, there's physics SPA and economics test on friday, which makes it quite ): and the worst thing is i forgot that i had to study and i rescheduled my tuition to thursday. smart.

i haven't blogged in half a month, and sadly i don't have much to say because life has been dull.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to dennetaddictionbabe, who turned eighteen on 8th april! i'm so sorry we didn't get the chance to go meet you on your birthday! it was ORA as well, so i'd have loved to go down but there was some enterprise day thing in the morning. anyway you'll get your present when we next see you babe. LOVE! <3>

and happy birthday to vonn too! hope you liked the present and cake and that you had a good day! life in 06 wouldn't be the same without you. (:

mardi gras was on thursday night. it was quite happening! i seriously didn't know that SO many people would come back at night for a school event. a pity our class didn't do anything special, though. but ah, i would say it was a success. (:

but what made me even happier was meeting darlingSTEF for an early dinner before mardi gras. and she treated me to crystal jade xiaolongbao hohoho. i love the way we can hop from topic to topic, and yet not sense awkwardness in the air if we both remain quiet. seeing her was the happiest thing that happened to me in the past few weeks. :D I LOVE STEF. :D

but really, as we talked, we realised we don't enjoy jc that much anymore. last year was funfunfun, everything was nice and happy. but now.. i don't know. a few laughs here and there everyday, but on the whole, life's been monotonous, and i'm not enjoying it at all. everyone suddenly seems so distant, it feels like i don't know them anymore. and it's making questions pop out all over my head. ):

it would be nice if i could go back in time. back to last year. or to the three months in rj. better still, back to rgs. NICE. (:

sometimes i wonder if life's now really less fun than before, or is it only because i subconsciously make comparisons? what if i went through life the other way around, like going through tj before rgs. would i then be droning on about rgs?

maybe the past five years or so just set too high a standard, and this year kind of pales in comparison.

my striped lunchbox

met up with tina last saturday! she bused down to my bus stop from her house, which is like 4 bus stops away only. :D anyway she gave me a STRIPED metal lunchbox from paperchase, which just is SO damn nice i tell you. and it was filled with marks and spencers and hersheys sweets and chocolates and gold stars. it's supposed to be my stress-reliever-cum-fattener! and we just sat at the bus stop and talked for over an hour. (: she had initially wanted to make me a bento for the lunchbox, made up of all the food we used to eat together in primary school! that was damn touching. it was really nice, especially since we seldom find the time to meet up. i loved the present, i loved the convos, but i still love that girl the most. X)

went out with my mom in the afternoon, and i had such a satisfying lunch at din tai fung! i absolutely love xiaolongbaos. :9 mannn i'm craving for some now.

met up with joan and dennet for dinner at breeks after that, and they were telling me all the plans they had come up with to celebrate my birthday, like gathering my sec2 + sec4 + tj friends to surprise me! and there was the little treasure hunt around orchard they had wanted to send me on too. such a waste there wasn't enough time to plan. ): but aw i love you babes! and we can have a proper kore-ans dinner or something when cheryl comes back. (:

today is friday so as usual, we had a little movie outing again! watched the hills have eyes with don and ruide after school. and we managed to squeeze in time to eat haagen dazs to use up don's voucher! three of us were rushing to finish up those three scoops of icecream. extremely yummy, nonetheless. :9 thanks man brother! anyway it was such a stressful movie. i was busy trying to cover my face with the jacket while trying to watch at the same time. and ruide kept trying to pull the jacket away. -.- thanks man! it was a gory show, but it was really sad at the same time. imagine seeing a family getting wiped out like that, what's more, in that manner. i told the guys to expect my call if i couldn't sleep tonight. it's 2.50am and i'm still awake. maybe i should go prank call them. :D

this wasn't the best of weeks i've had, it was quite terrible in fact. but nah, i won't blog about it because it's such a long story and i like to look back and entries and remember the happy things in life. (: anyhow, bird we will be alright okay. love! that aside, i was very touched because so many people cared. and stef, i hope you'll be okay too! i'm here if you need me okay.
