PRELIMS ARE OVER!

omg i've been waiting for this for weeks, i tell you. overall, i don't know what to expect for prelim results and i don't want to think about it. but the highlight was econs mcq man. the day before i ploughed through fourteen out of eighteen units of mcq in the tys and i'm just so glad, relieved and thankful that all the work paid off. anyway i know it might sound crazy to work so much for an mcq paper but my rationale behind that is that since my econs is so terrible, i should work hard for mcq because that's the only part of the paper i think there's still hope for. don't you agree! anyway i'm praying real hard i can pass econs, cause i'm still not confident that i'll be able to.

for once, i could finish an fmath paper! i know i've got loads of marks taken away already but i'm hoping for a B. heck, i'm hoping for an A but we've got to be realistic here yeah. anyway it was good that i finished the paper in time; i could feel relieved and happy properly after that about the end of exams. (:

after the paper it was down to pastamania with tong, vonn, val, ruide (and yandeng for a while). i love italian soda! (: rachel and stef introduced it to me when ate at bishan's pastamania. after that we shopped for a while before proceeding to vonn's house for a princess hours marathon. we only managed to watch eight discs (cause we started at ten and ended at around seven the next morning, plus there were bath breaks in between) and i fell asleep at some parts so i might just rewatch it and fast-forward the parts i've watched. i just need to wait for my turn for the discs now! and my dear eileen seah didn't go to our grandma's house last sunday so she couldn't pass me full house. and we didn't go this week cause of singapore idol finals. COUSINNN I WANT FULL HOUSE.

i went shopping with my mom and aunt on saturday and i tell you i just felt so happy to be able to shop and relax without exam worries! it had been like, two months without shopping or something. i didn't get anything in the end but i was really happy cause we went for xiaolongbaos at din tai fung and my mom got me a brownie from the brownie factory (i think that's what it's called?) at taka's basement which i am tempted by everytime i walk by that place and though i was full to the brim my mom and aunt INSISTED we get green tea ice cream just because i mentioned that i saw it in bugis the day before and i almost bought it but it was crazy at four bucks per scoop. but i was so full i didn't want it cause you don't get maximum satisfaction from eating when you're already full but they were like "no, no, we want to try it." when really i knew it was just so i could have it. my mom wanted to buy me so much food i think she was on a mission to fatten me up hahaha. oh, and i met jiekai, sheryl and jiadi! ruide and bee were in the area too and ced called after his tuition but i didn't meet any of them. ):

yesterday i went for SINGAPORE IDOL FINALS hohoho. quite loser i know but it was a nice experience. (: i was in jon's camp, of course. screamed myself hoarse within the first fifteen minutes. oh another of my mom's colleague was there with her children too and her son's friend was with them and it was an eclub senior! so coincidental okay. well cause her son was from tj too, one year our senior i think. (: anyway the atmosphere there, crazy man. we cheered like mad, as if we were his ardent fans hahaha. for the record, we aren't, okay, we aren't. i met maryanne and brenna there and they were in the same camp too. (: going for the results show tonight, i really hope jon wins cause i prefer him la and i spent THIRTY BUCKS voting last night. and that was the lowest contribution in my family already. haha but still money okay! speaking of which, i spent twenty bucks on votes when it was down to the bottom three and i went to the results show then, which was like, smack in the middle of prelims. haha crazy right! and that day it was just high man cause i went with the gut feeling he'd be out then it was whoa! final two. hohoho. i know it's ultimate madness but it's just for the fun of it. i mean, how often do you personally know the contestant? that said, i like showing support so i hope one of my cousins or friends go join a competition and i would volunteer to help out with preparation stuff! i think it's real fun.

i want to watch john tucker must die but everyone's busy today. i'm meeting my mom after her work to go down to the stadium together so i think i might go shop around alone before that.

trish called me that day! so sweet of her, her phone konked out and she took the effort to go ask her friend's friend for my number. we were supposed to meet for dinner on wednesday but that girl sure has her ditzy moments and she forgot that she'd already arranged to meet other friends hahahaha. it's alright, we'll make up for it another day! we sure will. oh and zhihua smsed me too and so2b's having a chalet today and he asked if i could make it. it's so nice you know, that people still take the effort to remain in contact even though i knew them after i got into rj, which means we were only classmates or ogmates for three months and yet we're still in contact. and like though i couldn't go for the rj class chalet i am really touched everytime they ask me if i'm free when they have class outings because it's already been like a year and a half since i left the class. feel the love man!

okay this has been a relatively long entry so i shall stop here and go blog in the koreans blog because i haven't done so in ages.
