for the first time in my entire life, i ponned school today. because i overslept! and my mom only woke me up at like 7.40am. initially she asked me to cab to school but i told her there were only two lectures and two tutorials today so she told me just not to go. and so i went back to sleep. hohoho. just as well, since one of the tutorials was cancelled in the end.

thankyou jean and ruide for settling all the float stuff. i realised i should never be absent on a tuesday or friday anymore because i had to sms out so much instructions for subway. -.-

so i was happily blogging just now when don called. don! how come everytime i talk to you on the phone you'll be shouting into my ear?! ): hahaha anyway he shouted why i wasn't in school and if i wanted to watch v for vendetta. yes, of course man. so went to cineleisure to catch the show with him and ruide, while the others all had stuff on. happening eh. the show was good! i liked it, at least. thank goodness. it broke our record of spending 8 bucks and watching a lousy movie every friday. :D

met lawrence at dhoby ghaut mrt. gosh i miss his "DAPHNEHHH!!!"s. and i so should have smsed stef earlier! we could have met for dinner. aw, sad.

first and foremost, thank you all for being so nice and sweet. i am so very grateful for all the friends i have, and the things they'd do for me!

my phone started beeping about two minutes before midnight and birthday messages just kept coming in throughout the day! sweet. (: like eugene smsed, presumably from camp, and leonard called from camp a few hours ago. and clara and huiting smsed me from AUSTRALIA! then there was tina, my dear old friend of a little more than ELEVEN years! my dear girl had a math paper the next day but stayed up to wish me. girl we've known each other for more than half our lives, i hope this amazing friendship will last the many more decades to come! and there were the 205ers, 404ers, rj and tj people, and just basically people i've come to know all these years. it made me realise that all my dear friends still love me a lot even though we might not be in the same schools anymore. so thank you for the call (AHEM, haha!) and smses, that little text message you sent made my day, really.

took the later bus 24 to school than usual and for some strange reason, xiangting gary mingjie all took that later bus too. when we got down xiangting and jacqueline went to buy something and a while later they came back with a PANDAN CAKE. okay little private joke there. so they were singing happy birthday at the traffic light while we were waiting to cross the road! it's so rare that such great friends can be found just by taking the same bus every morning. (:

then at morning assembly, i met bee and nat who gave me my present. hahaha thanks babes!

after assembly, i met jean and jasmine who made me wear this sign which said, "i am a cockroach. i meow.", and was reassured that present was really nice and worth the embarrassment. so after the first lesson, they passed me my present and made me open it and WOW! -.- it was a can of insecticide. and i always thought they loved me. ): hahaha but nah, in the end they gave me a nice leather wallet. (:

had lunch with vonn quitong ruide cos vonn said val marc don ced were mugging in the library. then ruide said he thought they were at parkway. so like okay, something was amiss man! after lunch we went for civics and the moment one of them opened the door, there was my present of a HUGE pig cushion and cake facing the door and the whole of 0605 was singing me a birthday song. other people who were walking to their various classes for their own civics lessons just suddenly stopped to STARE. gosh you people are sweet. (:

and i'm so touched that val marc don ced went all the way to parkway to get me a cake! especially since it was raining and if you know my dear brothers, you'd also know how much they care about their styled hair. and yet they+bird ran in the RAIN for me, with ced protecting my cake more than his hair! HAHAHA. i know this sounds really retarded but it's true. and as don said, they'd never done it for anyone before. i love you guys okay!

weiwei shurong xiaoshan wendy melissa chengpei jiayi wrote me this birthday card which was so sweet of them! to me, it's not just a card; it's a card which has the birthday wishes from my dear friends and really, it's the thought that counts. reading it makes me happy. (: thanks dears, i love all of you so much.

after cca i went to meet ziyu and junqi, and we waited for val to finish soccer before going down long john's silver to meet vonn and tong. budget dinner, but it's the company that counts! the six of us haven't gone out together in such a long time, especially with ziyu and jun! and i loved the convos and taking photos until tong complained her arm ached. :D

the only thing i was sad about was that stefaniechanyuetling didn't sms me, and i thought she'd forgotten! until i met her online at 11+pm and we realised she'd gotten the date wrong, and she was just going to sms me at 12am. it's alright stef! it's the thought that counts, at least i know you didn't forget! and be honoured okay, that you really do matter. alright don't be sad anymore. love!

great birthday that was, definitely the best in the past few years. i remember that last year's was terrible, because it was posting day as well. i only wish i had the chance to meet up with rgs people after school on wednesday, which i couldn't because of cca and everyone's cts. but THANKS EVERYONE i love you all.

went over to dennet's house yesterday to study. and i tried to make her study! but she just kept telling everyone online that i was a DISTRACTANT. dennet, no such word okay! anyway joan was supposed to join us but she abandoned us because she had to buy groceries. ): another day then! completed almost a whole tutorial there, while dennet did her integration. and i realised i'm very weak with past topics! gosh.

i want to go shopping.

met up with vonn and val yesterday! studied at the airport and we had popeye's for lunch. and vonn just couldn't stop thinking about going shopping, especially after bird told her about the sale at flesh imp. tsktsk those shopaholics. hohoho i still love you guys! <3>desperately need and cannot live without! i have my camera, mp3, phone, and i guess i could survive with my existing supply of bags and clothes (won't reject more though, heehee). i lead a happy life. going over to dennet's house tomorrow to study! HOHO i bet all the guys in rj are jealous of me. hahaha kidding babe.

the holidays have more or less ended and you know what i realised it has been really unproductive. only did tutorials, didn't revise anything at all. shit lah i really regret it now. i know i seriously wasted the whole hols away.

it'll be monday soon and there'll be school all over again. damn.

hohoho i am high today because i had macs breakfast with dennet and we talked quite a bit! then we attempted to study but funny people were being noisy in macs and our dear girl didn't know how to do her chem. obviously i couldn't help her, so we decided to go to rj so she could get help. and before we left we went to get zhunianpoo a flobberball! it's called flobber, i think. (:

and so i studied with dennet zhu angie yvonne alicia xiuwen at the tables under block A. gosh i miss rj. okay not too bad i managed to complete the alternating current tutorial for physics! well, sort of. with a few blanks here and there. :D

and i'm happy because i met so many people! there was, apart from those i studied with, sharon jean sien hanyang dominic vizanne aisyah shiyun. i was shiyun's surprise okay. and dennet was so loud i think the whole canteen knew. also met rachelooiyanling, who was studying with cat. (:

chel accompanied me to go around j8 to get some stuff and i felt so bad hahaha. RACHELOOI. sorrysorrysorry! (: satisfied my oldchangkee cravings and we bused home. (:

got my S02B class tee, it's SO big i tell you. i was practically drowning in it the whole time! it's nice and dry-fit. (: which makes me want 0605's class tee even more badly. bird! when school reopens we bug marc okay.

meeting friends makes me happy. :D life is good, man.

alright finally! after five distressing hours, i've finally managed to change the layout to suit blogspot. the switch isn't complete yet though, because there are still some missing links which i've lost and need to recover.

it's so sad diary-x crashed. blogs to me are sort of.. to help me record all the happy times i've had and the little things in life. considering that i switched to diary-x at the start of last year, that means it's one whole year of memories gone. and last year was such a significant year, because of jc life, all the changes i've encountered, all the new friends i've made.. i'd rather lose any year's entry than 2005's. so yeah, i'm sad diary-x crashed. anyway i've been wanting to set up a blog ever since the crash, but i haven't found the time until now. and now, i have another blog, a combined one with the kore-ans, i.e. dennet joan cheryl. sweet. life's been passing a little too quickly for me, i haven't had the time to blog in a really long time. but i guess life's been good overall! i don't remember having been sad anytime in the past few months. either i haven't been so or i just don't remember. either way, i guess it's good. (:

we celebrated junqi's and marc's birthdays last tuesday. marc treated the whole class to pizza and this ice-blended mango drink. marc you rock man! and like the whole class was there and it was just so nice. (: i love the class! they make school life so much more bearable, even to the extent of being fun.

ced has a turtleneck AGAIN.

friday was the last day of school and we were high i tell you. after school tong bird vonn ruide ced don and i went to suki sakura for buffet, and we ate until we were all SO full and sleepy. it was so much fun! like how we thought the vanilla cream puffs were so nice that don and ced went to take like two plates more of them, and ced was commenting on how come the chef suddenly changed and they didn't seem nice anymore hahaha. and the SALMON HEAD that they ordered! HAHAHA the whole head came and we all stared and didn't know what to do with it. and then we finished eating and we were too lazy to move so we just sat there for a really long time, laughing at ced being dongdong, the polar bear from ruide's retarded joke which wasn't even funny.

then we went down to cineleisure to watch date movie. it was HORRID. basically just very low-class humour that we not only found it hard to laugh, in fact, we couldn't wait for the movie to end. we couldn't understand how ced and tong could have laughed so much! okay fridays are officially bad-movie-days. the previous friday don ruide and i went to watch big momma's house. we thought it was lame, until we watched date movie. any movie would have been better!

val and i went to ntu's open house on saturday. didn't get much information from their exhibition, and we missed the talk because SOMEONE had soccer don't-know-what and ended up late. tsk. met so many people that day - minghan, maryann, jingting, junqi+bf, qianwen+jayne and ruide. okay i don't know why we met up with ruide because it was like, "HI! [..two sentences..] BYE!!" hahaha totally meet up for nothing. bird and i went to orchard for ljs dinner! and we talked and window-shopped a lot. BIRD! i'm so glad we did that! we haven't had little heart-to-heart talks in a rather long time! and we shared a fried mars bar, which was nice but please share it with someone because it's so sweet you might get sick of it after a few mouthfuls.

on sunday, we+don went for nus's and smu's open houses. val came late and i met zhihua and.. oh well. ZHIHUA I HOPE YOU'VE UNDONE YOUR MISTAKE! nus's talk was rather.. useless. we didn't get much information from it. smu's, on the other hand, really got don and i convinced. and i like the environment, where it prepares you for the real world cos you're forced to speak up because classes are really small! and from the talk it seemed like it's really hard to get into smu, but when i came home my sis told me actually the success rate of getting into nus is even lower. and i think nus's internships are better. oh well! we have a year more to go anyway. (: besides zhihua, we also met thiamkee+jocelyn, chengpei ziying+sue-faye, wendy and.. can't remember who else. we went for the 11am talk and last night ced said he was at the same talk too! funny that we didn't meet.

my schedule this march hols is super empty, because all the schools except tj seem to have common tests when school reopens! hence i don't want to ask people out because people need to study. ): at least there's macsbreakfast+study on wednesday with dennetaddictionbabe, and again on thursday with jiemeis. guys can't come because of their basketball camp. oh well!

alright i hope blogging will be more frequent for me now. stop finding excuses for the lack of updates, daphne.
